Our business, Devraj Engineering Co and Amit Machine Tools, is over at 211/2 Kevdawadi Naka in Amraiwadi. We are located near Nirala House and right behind the Wonder Point Building. It can be a bit hard to find us if you are not familiar with the local backstreets. We have a combined workshop and store where we deal with machine tools and engineering parts. It is a greasy and busy place most of the time. There is almost always some machine being worked on or parts being moved around the floor. We have been here for a long time now. The building is old and the walls are covered with tools and parts of all sizes. We do not have a receptionist or a fancy lobby. Usually, whoever is free will come to the door to help the customer. It is a very hands-on operation. We spend our days looking at technical specs and finding the right components for local workshops. Amraiwadi is an industrial area, so we fit right in with the other shops on the street. We are not trying to be anything special or corporate. We just provide the tools that keep the local machines going. It is hard work and the days are often long, but we have built a good life here. We just take each order as it comes and try to keep things organized enough so we can find what people need quickly without much trouble.
