Devi Engineering Works

Our workshop is at Plot No-1660 in Thakkarnagar, right along National Highway No-8. It is quite a long address, but we are easy to spot if you look for the Municipal Office or the Bajrang Ashram across the road. We have been at this location for many years now. Being so close to the highway means it is always noisy with traffic, but it makes it easy for people to drop off heavy equipment. We do a lot of engineering work here, mostly welding, cutting, and fixing metal structures. The shop is big and open, which helps with the air, but it still gets very warm in the summer months. We have a lot of old machines that still work better than the new ones sometimes. Most of our days are spent working on projects for local construction or small factories nearby. We are not much for paperwork, so most of our deals are done with a handshake and a note in a ledger. There is always a layer of iron dust on everything, and our clothes are never really clean for very long. We do not have a fancy waiting room or anything like that for visitors. If you come by, you will likely find us in the middle of a job. We just try to do honest work and get things back to the customers. (237 words)
