Our office is 802, located on the 8th floor of Shivalik Shilp at the Iscon Cross Road. Deepak Poly Plast has been working from this Ahmedabad location for a while now. Being up on the 8th floor means we have a really good view of the Iscon Cross Road traffic, which can be quite a mess during the busy hours. We deal with polymers and plastic materials, so our day-to-day work involves a lot of talking to people on the phone and coordinating with the manufacturing side of things. The office isn't overly large, but we have our desks set up and some shelves where we keep samples of the different plastics we work with. It feels like a typical busy office, with phones ringing and people rushing around to get things done. We usually start the day with some tea and a quick chat about what needs to be prioritized. Because we are in such a central location, there are always plenty of places nearby to grab a quick meal or run an errand during the break. The building is fairly modern, but inside our unit, it's just a practical workspace with lots of files and technical data sheets lying around. We don't really bother with any fancy decorations. Most of us have been in this industry for years, so we just focus on making sure the orders are correct and that the plastic supplies are moving to where they need to go.
