Dashrath Gold Art Private Limited is situated over on Pedak Road in Rajkot. We are based in the Ratnadip Society - 5, specifically inside the building known as Darshan Silver Art. It's a busy part of town with a lot of heavy traffic and people passing by all day long. The area is well known for people working with different metals and jewelry, so we fit right in. Our workspace is pretty simple and functional. We have the usual benches, stools, and hand tools you'd expect for gold work. It gets a bit warm in the workshop during the middle of the day, especially in the summer, but we have a couple of fans going to keep us cool. There are usually five of us in and out of the shop. We spend a lot of our time focusing on the finer details of the gold pieces we are making. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find fancy carpets or air conditioning in every corner. It’s a real, messy work environment. We handle the gold carefully and keep our records in thick handwritten ledgers. The society is mostly residential, so we try our best not to make too much noise late in the evening. People around here know us as the gold guys on Pedak Road. We've been at this for a long time now. The street food nearby is actually pretty good, so we often grab lunch from the corner stall. It’s a basic, honest way to make a living.
