Daksha Engineering Works

We have been running things out of Block No.25 for a good while now. It’s tucked away in the Gujarat Udhyognagar area, which most people know is right near the old Jubille Mill in Bardolpura. If you are coming down this way, you usually smell the industrial air before you see our sign. The workshop isn't much to look at from the outside, just a plain front with some heavy doors that we keep open most of the day to let a bit of a breeze in. Inside, it’s mostly the sound of the machines running and the guys talking over the noise. We have a few old lathes and some newer equipment scattered around the floor. It gets pretty dusty, especially in the summer when the wind kicks up from the road. We spend our mornings going over the sketches and getting the metal cut to size. There is a small desk in the corner where we keep all the records in those big cardboard folders. It’s not a high-tech setup, just a practical place where we get the engineering jobs done. We take our tea breaks outside by the gate when the sun isn't too hot. Most of the people around here are doing the same kind of work, so it's a busy neighborhood with trucks coming and going. We don’t have any fancy reception area, so visitors usually just walk right into the middle of the shop. It's loud and a bit messy, but that's just how we work here.
