D. S. Techno Imports Pvt. Ltd. is located right over in Bapunagar. We are in Building 45 of J Jalaram Society Part 2. Being near National Highway 8 and the Virat Nagar Char Rasta means we are always near the main flow of transport. This makes it a lot easier for us when we have goods arriving. Importing stuff involves a lot of waiting and then a lot of rushing when things finally show up at the port. Our office isn't very large, but it’s enough for what we do. We handle the paperwork and the communications with companies overseas. Most of the day is spent checking emails and making sure the shipping documents are in order. Bapunagar is a lively area with plenty of activity. We’ve been here long enough to know most of the neighbors. We don't have a fancy showroom. It's mostly just desk work and keeping track of the inventory coming in from the highway. The noise from the traffic on Highway 8 is something you just get used to after a while. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there; we just want to get our shipments handled correctly and keep the business running smoothly. It’s a lot of coordination between the customs people and the local transporters. We just take it one day at a time here in the society, making sure we stay on top of the regulations and the arrivals of our regular containers.
