D D Foods

D D Foods is located at Plot No- G22/2, inside the Kirtan Kruti Flats in Sangam Park Society. We’re right near the Hirabaug Railway Crossing in the Ambawadi area. It’s a bit of a tight spot with the railway nearby, so you can always hear the trains passing by throughout the day. We’ve set up our food business here, and it’s a very local, neighborhood kind of operation. The space is part of a residential society, so we have to be mindful of our neighbors and keep things relatively quiet when we can. We aren't some giant food factory. It’s just a small team of us working in the unit to prepare and pack things. The kitchen gets hot, and there's always something bubbling or being chopped. We don't have a marketing team or a bunch of suits running the place. We just focus on making food that tastes like it should. Most of our customers are from the surrounding blocks or people who know us from the crossing. We spend a lot of time cleaning and making sure everything is up to code, which is the most important part of the job. It’s a lot of routine, day in and day out, but we like the rhythm of it. We just want to keep the business going and stay part of the Ambawadi community without having to worry about big corporate rules.
