Our place is over in Odhav, which is one of the busiest industrial spots you'll find. We have units 10 and 10A in the Jaylaxmi Industrial Estate. It’s right across from Anup Engineering and near CMC. It’s a bit of a maze to get through the traffic sometimes. We deal with chemicals and consulting, so the office is a mix of desks and some lab equipment. There’s always a faint smell of something in the air, but you get used to it after the first week. We’ve been operating under the name Chem Verse for a long time now. It’s a private limited company, but it doesn't feel very corporate when you're actually inside. We spend a lot of time on the phone or writing up reports. The estate is old and the buildings have seen better days, but they work fine for what we need. We don't have a fancy lobby for visitors; usually, people just come straight back to the workspace. It’s a lot of technical work that requires being careful with details. We aren't trying to change the world or anything like that, just helping out where we can with the expertise we have. Some days are just filled with checking numbers and making sure everything is safe. It’s steady work and it keeps the lights on at Jaylaxmi.
