Steefo Engineering Corporation

Steefo Engineering Corporation is out at the New Ahmedabad Industrial Estate. We are situated on the Sarkhej-Bavla Road, which is a very busy highway with lots of big trucks. Our place is near the Zydus Cadila Research Center, so it is pretty easy to find if you are in the area. We are at number 12. Our facility is a large industrial shed where we build heavy engineering equipment. There is almost always someone welding or using a crane to move steel sections around. It is a noisy and dusty environment, but that is the nature of heavy engineering. We do not have a fancy office with carpets. It is a real workshop with oil on the floor and plenty of tools. The people working here are skilled at what they do and they work hard. We build machines that are meant to be used in tough conditions, so we make them strong. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, especially when it is very hot or during the monsoon when the yard gets muddy. We have a small room where the engineers sit to do their planning and drawings. We do not do a lot of advertising. Most people in the industry know our name and what we are capable of building. We just stay busy with the orders we have and try to keep everything running smoothly. It is a lot of work but we like it.
