Chandni Art

You can find us in Naroda, inside the Munsi Compound. We are part of the Urvi Complex, which sits right on National Highway No. 8. A good landmark is that we are pretty much opposite the Devi Cinema. The highway is always humming with trucks and buses going past. Our workshop is a bit old-fashioned. We have been at Chandni Art for years, and the walls are covered in marks from various projects we’ve finished. It isn't a showroom; it's a place where work actually happens. The floor is usually covered in scrap and dust, but that's how a real shop looks. We don't follow a strict corporate schedule, we just stay until the work is finished for the day. Sometimes the heat in the compound gets quite intense during the summer months, but we have a couple of old fans that keep the air moving. Dealing with the traffic on NH 8 is the hardest part of the day. We see the crowds heading to the cinema across the way every evening. It’s a lively spot to be in. We don’t bother with fancy signs for ourselves because we’re too busy making things for everyone else. It’s just us here, a few people who know their trade well enough to get by. We take things as they come and don’t worry too much about the small stuff. It’s a simple life in a busy part of Naroda.
