Cemex

We run Cemex out of a flat in Baroda. It’s C-503 in the Fatehsagar Flats, located in the Fatehgunj area. The pin code is 390002. It’s a bit unusual to have an office in a residential building, but it works perfectly for us. It keeps our overhead low and it’s a comfortable place to spend the day. We have a kitchen nearby for tea, and the living room is where we have our main desks. It feels more personal than a cold office building. Baroda is a great city, and Fatehgunj is a lively spot with lots of students and small shops. We can see the street from our balcony, which is nice for taking a break. We don't have a big sign outside, just a small one on the door so people know they’ve found the right place. Most of our business is done over the phone or through people we already know. We aren't looking to become a giant company. We just like doing our work and helping out with local projects. The flat is filled with samples and brochures, and it can get a bit cluttered sometimes. We keep meaning to organize the files better, but we are usually too busy with current orders. It’s a relaxed atmosphere here. No one wears a suit, and we all know each other well. It’s just how we like to run things. Baroda has been good to us over the years.
