We’re located at L/464 in the G.I.D.C. Estate in Odhav, right by the old water tank. That water tank is how most people find us because the streets in the estate can get confusing. Carbon Rotofluid is a place where we deal with a lot of seals and joints. It’s a technical kind of work, but the shop floor is still a bit of a mess with oil and metal parts everywhere. We have some old machines that still work better than the new ones you see today. The heat in Odhav during the summer months is no joke, and the shed gets pretty warm during the afternoons. We usually keep the big doors open to catch whatever breeze there is. There’s a small office tucked in the corner where the paperwork happens, but mostly we are out where the noise is. We’ve been in this spot for years, and we know most of the other shop owners around here. We share tools sometimes or help each other out when a truck gets stuck in the mud during monsoon. It’s a practical way to work. No one wears a suit here; it’s all work shirts and heavy shoes. We spend a lot of time measuring things and making sure the fit is perfect because that’s what matters for rotofluids. It’s just a bunch of us doing what we know, day in and day out, near that old tank.
