Down in Odhav, at Plot No. A-44 in the Adarsh-Ii Industrial Estate, you will find Bondwell Ortho Products. We are right beside the Gurudwara, which is a nice landmark for anyone trying to find us. Making orthopedic products is what we do every day. It is a bit different from general engineering because the pieces are often smaller and need a lot of care. We have been operating here for several years. The industrial estate is always full of activity, with trucks coming and going. Inside our unit, we try to keep things as tidy as possible, though it is still a factory floor. We aren't interested in sounding like a big multinational company. We are just a local business that understands how to work with the materials needed for these types of medical items. Some days the machines give us trouble, and other days everything runs smooth. We have a handful of workers who have been with us through the ups and downs. It is steady work. We don't put on any airs or graces. If someone needs a particular part made, we look at the requirements and see if we can manage it. Odhav is a tough, hardworking area, and we like to think we fit in well here. We spend our time checking measurements and ensuring the finish is right. It is what we know, and we just keep at it day after day without much complaining.
