Blind Peoples Association Ambawadi

Our office is over at F/114 Kamdhenu Complex. If you are near Sahajanand College or the Polytechnic in Ambavadi, you’ve probably walked past us a few times. It’s a busy building with a lot going on. We are part of the association here, and our days are usually filled with paperwork and helping people find their way around the services we have. It’s not a quiet place. There are always people coming in with questions or looking for support. We don't have a lot of fancy decorations on the walls. It’s a practical space with desks, chairs, and a lot of files. Sometimes the elevator in the complex acts up, and we have to use the stairs, which is just part of being in an older building like this. We work with the local community every day. It’s about getting things done, whether it’s organizing a small meeting or helping someone fill out a form. We’ve been in this spot for a long time, so we know the neighborhood and the people around here pretty well. We don't have a big marketing department or anything. We just open the doors in the morning and see who needs help. It can be a bit chaotic at times, but we just take it one person at a time. Being near the college means there is always energy around the place. We just try to stay useful to everyone.
