Bharat Patterns

Bharat Patterns is located in the G.I.D.C. Industrial Estate in Odhav. We are right opposite the old water tank at C-16. It's a landmark everyone around here knows, so it makes finding us a bit easier. This part of Ahmedabad is very industrial, with a lot of smoke and noise from all the factories. We make patterns here, which is a bit of an old-school craft but still very much needed. Our workshop is filled with wood, metal, and the smell of sawdust. It’s not a clean environment, but it’s where the work gets done. There are usually a few of us working on different benches, trying to get the shapes exactly right for the molds. We don’t have a website or do any big promotions. Most of our work comes from the same few foundries we’ve known for a decade or more. The tea here is strong and we drink a lot of it while we figure out the more complicated designs on the table. The old water tank across the road is starting to look a bit worn out, much like some of our older tools, but they still work just fine for what we need. We don't worry too much about the latest trends or corporate styles. We just stick to what we know and get the patterns finished on time. It’s a simple life of measuring, cutting, and checking. When the day is done, we lock up and go home.
