Bharat Ice Factory

Bharat Ice Factory is found at Building No. 41 in the Siddheshwari Texpa on Olpad Road. We are directly opposite the Prince School, which is a good landmark for anyone trying to find us. Working in an ice factory means it’s always a bit damp and cold inside, which is a nice break from the heat on Olpad Road. The building is large enough to hold all the freezing equipment and the storage blocks. You can usually hear the hum of the compressors from the street. It’s a noisy business, but it’s a consistent one. The area around Siddheshwari Texpa is always active, especially with the school right across the way. We see the kids and parents coming and going every morning and afternoon. Our days start early because ice doesn't wait for anyone. We load up the blocks and manage the machinery without much ceremony. There isn't a lot of fancy furniture in our office area; it’s mostly just for keeping the books and taking calls. We don't do much in the way of promotion. The factory just does its thing day in and day out. The traffic on Olpad Road can be heavy with trucks, but we are used to the rhythm of the place by now. It’s a practical, straightforward operation and we don’t try to make it seem like anything else. We just focus on keeping the machines running and the ice moving.
