B. L. Engineering

If you ever find yourself on Drive-In Road, you might have seen the J.B. Tower. That’s where B. L. Engineering is located, right opposite the big Doordarshan Tower. It’s a landmark everyone knows around here, which makes it easy to give directions to people coming to see us. Our office and workshop area is always a bit cluttered with blueprints, metal scraps, and various tools we use for our engineering projects. The traffic on Drive-In Road is pretty constant, so there is always a background hum of cars and buses. We’ve been based in J.B. Tower for quite a few years now. The space isn’t perfect—the elevator can be slow and it gets a bit cramped when we have a big project going on—but it’s home for us. We do various types of engineering work, mostly small to medium stuff that requires a lot of attention to detail. We don't have a marketing department or anyone to write fancy slogans. We are just a group of people who understand how machines and structures work. Most of our day is spent at our desks or out on the shop floor checking on how things are being put together. It’s a practical environment. We value being reliable and just getting the job done without making a big fuss about it. We like being in this part of town despite the busyness. Sometimes we even catch a glimpse of the sunset over the tower if we work late enough.
