Asha Engineering has been tucked away in 8, Union Estate for a good while. We are right behind the old Gujarat Bottling plant, which most people around Rakhial know as a landmark. Being near the Rameshwar Park BRTS station makes it easy for the staff to get in, though the traffic on the main road can be a headache during rush hour. Our workshop is usually full of the sound of machines running. We do a lot of metalwork and small engineering jobs that people bring in. It is not the quietest place to work, but we like the hum of the tools. The floor is usually covered in some shavings or oil, no matter how much we sweep. We have a small team here. Most of us have been doing this for years, so we know the machines inside out. We don't have a flashy front office. If you come by, you’ll probably find us in our overalls near the lathes. It’s a practical setup. We handle whatever comes through the door, from small repairs to slightly larger batches of parts. Rakhial is an industrial kind of place, and we fit right into the neighborhood. We focus on getting the measurements right and making sure the pieces fit like they are supposed to. It’s just basic engineering without any of the extra fluff you see in big city firms. We just do the work and send it out to whoever needs it next.
