Arzoo Sortex

You can find Arzoo Sortex right on the State Highway, near the IOC Petrol Pump at Khali Char Rasta. It’s a busy intersection in Khali, and we are right in the middle of it. Our main work involves the sortex machines, which use sensors to clean and sort through different types of grains and pulses. The machines make a constant humming sound that you get used to after a while. We spend a lot of time monitoring the flow of the grain and making sure the settings are just right. It is a very dusty environment, even with the fans running. The highway outside is always full of heavy trucks and commuters, so there is never a quiet moment. We see a lot of farmers and traders coming in with their harvests. We have to be careful with the bags and the storage because everything needs to stay dry. The Khali area is quite agricultural, so we are right where we need to be. Our building is a simple shed-like structure that keeps the machines protected from the weather. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. We just rely on the fact that people know we are here at the crossroads. It’s long hours during the harvest season, but that is just part of the job. We stay until the last truck is loaded most days.
