Arvind Corrotech Ltd

Arvind Corrotech Ltd is situated out at 198, Sarkhej Bavla Road in Changodar. It’s an industrial area, so there’s a lot of heavy machinery and big trucks moving around constantly. Our place is basically a large shed and an office area combined. It’s often hot during the day, and the sound of the highway is always there in the background. We spend a lot of time looking at metal and figuring out how to stop it from rusting or getting damaged. It’s dirty work sometimes, and our hands are rarely clean by the end of the shift. We’ve got some big equipment that takes up most of the floor space. Changodar is a long way from the city center, so the commute can be a bit of a drag for some of the guys. We don’t have a fancy canteen, just a table where we eat our lunch together. It’s a practical environment. We don’t care much for how things look as long as the machines are running and the work is getting done. There’s always a layer of grit on the windows from the road dust. We just keep our heads down and do the job. It’s been this way for years. We aren’t trying to be the biggest company, we just want to get through the day's tasks without any accidents or breakdowns. It’s a tough, honest way to make a living for all of us.
