Arbuda Bricks

Working out of Shop No 2 in the Nandan Baug Shopping Center keeps us pretty occupied throughout the week. Arbuda Bricks is a straightforward operation where we focus on getting bricks to whoever needs them for their construction projects. Bhimjipura is a busy area and being in the shopping center means there is always something going on around us. Bricks aren't exactly glamorous, they are heavy and leave your hands rough, but they are necessary for everything being built in this part of town. We spend a lot of time counting stock and talking to drivers who come to pick up loads. The shop isn't huge, but it serves its purpose for managing the orders and keeping track of things. Sometimes the deliveries arrive late because of the narrow roads around the shopping center, which can be a bit of a headache for us and the customers. We just deal with it as it comes. It is mostly just a lot of manual labor and keeping an eye on the quality of the batches we get. People in Bhimjipura know us as the place in Nandan Baug where you get your supplies without any fuss. It’s a bit dusty in the shop sometimes, especially when the wind picks up, but that is just part of the brick business. We keep the door open and stay busy with the local builders and regular customers who walk by every morning.
