Harihar Bricks Manufacturing Company

We run Harihar Bricks Manufacturing Company out of our place at 49 Tulip Bunglows. It’s near Surdhara Circle in Thaltej. It might seem a bit quiet around here compared to the industrial areas, but we keep busy. Making bricks is a dirty, dusty business, so our clothes never stay clean for long. We spend a lot of our time out at the sites or checking on the production. The office at the bungalow is where we handle the books and talk to customers. There is usually a lot of dirt on the floor because we are always walking in and out. It’s just part of the job. My family has been doing this for a while. We don't have any big corporate systems. It’s mostly just us writing things down in ledgers and making phone calls. The weather is a big deal for us. If it rains too much, everything slows down and we have to wait for things to dry out. That can be frustrating, but you can’t argue with the clouds. We have a few regular guys who have worked with us for a long time. We know the Thaltej area like the back of our hand. It’s changed a lot over the years with all the new buildings going up, but we are still here doing the same thing. It is honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until night.
