Maruti Paver & Bricks

You’ll find Maruti Paver & Bricks over in Santej, specifically at Block 828. We are right across from the Neelkanth Hotel. If you head behind the Bhavi Group of Industrial buildings near the Rakanpur Char Rasta, you’ll see us. It’s a bit of a winding way to get here but we like the space we have. Making pavers and bricks takes up a lot of room and it can be a messy business. There’s always dust and piles of sand around the yard. We don't mind it though. It’s just how it goes when you’re making things out of stone and cement. The heat from the kilns and the sun in Kalol can be a lot sometimes during the summer. We usually start very early to beat the worst of the afternoon sun. We aren't corporate people with suits and ties. We wear work clothes that get dirty every single day. Most of us live nearby in Santej or Ta.Kalol. We know the area like the back of our hands. It’s a busy industrial zone and there’s always something happening at the Char Rasta. We keep our head down and focus on getting the bricks shaped and dried properly. Sometimes we have a quick meal at the hotel across the street when we are too tired to cook at home. It’s a simple life and a simple business. We just make sure the quality is okay for whoever is building nearby.
