Shree Ram Brick

Shree Ram Brick is located out in Village Chalora, specifically in the Chak Daulat area. We are right near the main road, which makes it easy for people to spot us when they are driving by. The village life is a bit slower than the city, but we stay pretty busy at the site. The red soil around here is what we mostly work with. You’ll see big mounds of it near the entrance. Our setup is pretty basic, just some sheds and the open ground where the bricks are laid out. Being near the main road means we hear the cars and buses all day, but it’s good for getting the bricks out to the different construction sites nearby. The people in Chak Daulat are mostly farmers or laborers, and a few of them work here with us. We have a small office that’s basically just a desk and some chairs in a corner. It gets dusty when the wind blows across the open fields of Chalora. We usually have a pot of tea going for anyone who stops by. It’s an honest way to make a living, and we’ve been at it for a fair amount of time. There’s nothing fancy about how we operate. We just wake up, get to the yard, and start the day’s work of molding and stacking. If you’re coming down the main road, you’ll see the piles of red bricks from a distance.
