Shree Bhagyoday Bricks

Our little shop is number 21 in the Vrajvihar Shopping Centre. We are right in Naroda, across from the Mahalaxmi Intercity area. It’s a pretty lively spot with a lot of shops nearby. We handle everything related to bricks from this office. People come in to check samples or just to ask about prices for their construction projects. The shop isn't very big, so it gets crowded if more than three people walk in at once. We have samples sitting on the shelves so you can see the color and the grit of the clay. Naroda is growing fast, so there are always new buildings going up around us. We spend a lot of time on the phone coordinating with the kilns and the drivers. It’s a lot of juggling schedules. Sometimes the traffic outside is so loud we have to shout a bit to be heard. We keep things pretty informal here. Most of us just wear regular clothes and grab tea from the stall nearby in the afternoons. Sometimes the delivery trucks get stuck in the narrow lane near the shopping center, which causes a bit of a stir with the other owners. We just go out and help them guide the driver through. It’s a tight squeeze in Naroda these days. We’ve seen a lot of businesses come and go in this complex, but we’ve managed to stay put. It's mostly about showing up every day and making sure the orders are right. Nothing special about it, just work that needs doing.
