You can find us at Plot No. 1 in the Aysha Duplex area. We are quite close to Crescent International School in Makarba. It’s a bit of an interesting spot for an engineering workshop because there are houses and schools nearby. Most mornings we see the kids heading to school while we are opening up the shutters. We’ve been at this for a long time. It’s a small operation, really. We focus on mechanical parts and small repairs. The floor is usually covered in a bit of oil or metal shavings, no matter how much we sweep. We have a few machines that have been with us since the start. They aren't new, but they work just fine if you know how to handle them. Sometimes it’s a bit cramped when we have a big project going on. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. Most people hear about us from word of mouth in the neighborhood. We spend a lot of time just looking at drawings and trying to figure out the best way to cut a piece of steel. It takes patience. Sometimes we stay late when a job is being stubborn. It’s just me and a couple of other guys. We share a lunch and talk about local news. Makarba has changed a lot since we first moved here, but we are still in the same spot doing the same work. We keep things simple and just focus on the task.
