Navdurga Engineering

You can find us in Bhagirath Industrial Estate, right in Part 4. We are sitting across from Jawahar Nagar. It is a typical Amraiwadi setup with lots of small shops and factories all crammed together in a row. We do a lot of metal work here. The lathe machine has a bit of a rattle lately, but it still cuts straight enough for what we need. We spend our days fixing parts or making new ones from scratch based on whatever drawings people bring in on scraps of paper. It is greasy work. My overalls are always stained with oil and grime. We do not have a fancy website or anything like that. Most of our work comes from the other shops nearby who need something turned or welded quickly. It gets really loud during the day when everyone in the estate is working at once. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just sit outside on the stoop and wait for it to come back on. We have a small bench for visitors, but mostly it is just tools and metal scraps everywhere you look. We handle different types of engineering jobs, mostly small-scale stuff for local businesses. I have lived around here my whole life, so I know most of the people on this street. We just try to do a decent job so the parts do not break under pressure. It is a simple business. We open early and stay until the last job is finally done.
