Amiba Dala Mills

Amiba Dala Mills is situated right in the middle of Mina Bazar at the Char Rasta in Meghani Nagar. It is a very lively area, and our mill is a big part of the daily noise you hear around here. We have been at this location for a long time, and the building shows its age a bit. Inside, the machines are almost always running, which creates a constant hum and a lot of heat. The air is often filled with a fine dust from the grains being processed. We have bags of dal stacked up in every available corner, and it can be a bit of a maze to walk through the place. We don't have a clean, polished showroom. It is a working mill, so things are a bit messy and disorganized at times. We don't bother with fancy clothes; we just wear what is comfortable for the heavy work we do. Most of our customers are from the neighborhood or small shopkeepers from the bazaar who come in to get their supplies. We don't have a website or any printed brochures to give out. People know what we do by the sound and the smell when they walk past the Char Rasta. It is a simple, honest way to make a living. We spend our days managing the machines and talking to the people who come in. When the day is over, we just lock the doors and head home.
