Our place is out in Rajpur, which is part of Kadi taluka in Mehsana. It's a bit of a drive, but it's where we have the space for what we do. We are right opposite Sandvik Asia, so that’s a good landmark for anyone trying to find us at Survey No. 1159. We work with solvent extraction here. It’s a lot of heavy machinery and the smell of seeds and oil. The weather gets really hot in this part of Gujarat, so we try to get the heavy lifting done before the sun gets too high. We employ quite a few people from the local village. It’s a tight-knit group. We don’t have a fancy reception or anything like that. Usually, you’ll find the managers out on the floor with everyone else. We just focus on getting the oil extracted right. There’s always something to maintain or clean. Life here is tied to the harvest seasons. When the seeds come in, we’re busy around the clock. Other times, it’s a bit slower and we catch up on repairs. We don't use a lot of big words to describe what we do. We just process what comes in and send out the oil and the meals. It's honest work, and we’ve been at it for a while now. The village of Rajpur is home for most of us, and we like it that way. We just keep our heads down and handle the daily grind.
