Ambika Metal & Umiya Engineering

Ambika Metal & Umiya Engineering is tucked away at number 12 in the Goga Estate. We are near Sagunapark, right by the Gurudwara Cross Road and just behind the Ashish Cinema in Odhav. It is a very industrial area, so there is always the sound of metal clanging and machines humming from the neighbors. Our workshop is usually covered in a thin layer of metal dust, and the smell of welding is pretty constant. We have been here for a good amount of time, and the building shows its age with a few cracks in the plaster. There is a small office area boxed off from the main floor, but even there, you can hear everything going on outside. The Gurudwara nearby is a good point of reference for anyone trying to find us. Usually, the mornings are the busiest when we are loading and unloading materials. We don't have many fancy gadgets in the office, just an old computer and a lot of paper notebooks where we track everything. The guys working the floor have been with us for a long time and we all know the routine by heart. Sometimes we stay late when a big job needs finishing, ordering some tea and snacks to keep us going. It is dusty and loud, but it is honest work. We don't spend much time worrying about how the place looks as long as the engineering work is getting done correctly.
