We spend most of our days here at Mohanvilla, right in the thick of Odhav G.I.D.C. It’s a busy spot near those L-type sheds and the noise from the neighbors never really stops once the morning shift gets going. We started out with just a few machines and a lot of grease on our hands. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings by noon, and that’s just how it goes when you’re cutting and shaping stuff all day. It gets pretty hot inside during the summer months, but we just keep the fans running and stay focused on the work in front of us. Most of the guys here have been around for years, so we all know who takes their tea with extra sugar and who prefers to work in silence. We don't have a fancy front office or anything like that. If you come by Plot No.281, you’ll likely find us in our overalls tucked away behind the main gate. There’s always some part being turned on the lathe or someone welding in the corner. It’s a simple setup but it works for what we do. We mostly just deal with the local requirements and whatever projects land on our desk that week. Sometimes the trucks block the narrow road outside, which makes getting deliveries in a bit of a headache, but we manage. It's just a regular engineering shop doing its thing every day.
