Aluminium Section

Our place is called Aluminium Section, and you’ll find it at Shop Number 588/1241. We are tucked away in Bakri Por Ke Andar, which is right near the Suvami Naryan Mandir in the Kalupur area. If you’ve ever walked through the lanes of Kalupur, you know how narrow and busy they are. It’s an old part of town with a lot of character and quite a bit of noise. We spend our days surrounded by metal pieces and the sounds of cutting and hammering. It’s not the quietest job, but we like being in the heart of the market. The temple is a great guide for people trying to find us because once you reach there, you’re almost at our doorstep. We don’t have a big staff or a fancy showroom. It’s mostly just us working with the aluminium, getting sections ready for whatever the local builders or homeowners need. The heat in the summer can be tough in these small shops, but we just keep the fan going and stay busy. We don’t really do anything besides show up and get the work done. There is something nice about being in a place where everyone knows each other’s business. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a bit over the years, but the way we do things hasn't changed much. We just focus on the metal and the orders we have for the day.
