Alka Engineers

Our workshop is located in Amraiwadi, tucked behind the Vasant Industrial Estate on Nagarvel Hanuman Road. We’re also quite close to the Bhatt Brothers, which is how many people find their way to us. It’s an older part of the industrial area, so the roads can be a bit narrow and crowded with parked vehicles. We’ve set up our engineering space here because it’s a central spot for the kind of work we do. Most days involve a lot of noise from the grinders and drills as we work on different engineering projects. We don’t have a big fancy office; our desks are just in a corner of the main work floor where we can keep an eye on everything. We spend a lot of time talking to customers who come in with sketches or broken parts that need fixing. It’s a very practical place. We don’t use a lot of big words or try to sound like a corporate firm. We just look at the problem, figure out how to engineer a solution, and then we do it. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed among the staff, though we do work hard to keep up with the schedule. Amraiwadi is a busy place, and we’re just one of the many small shops here trying to do good work every day. We close up when the sun goes down and start all over again the next morning.
