Adani Wilmar Ltd has this office at C/96 Thirthbhoomi Tenement. It’s right behind Hotel Mony, near the Isanpur Char Rasta in Ahmedabad. This part of the city is always moving, especially with the traffic at the intersection nearby. Our office is tucked away in a residential-looking tenement, so it’s not some big glass skyscraper. Inside, it’s just desks, chairs, and a lot of papers. We deal with the food and oil side of things, making sure everything is moving through the supply chain. Ahmedabad gets incredibly hot, and the Isanpur area can get pretty crowded during rush hour. We spend most of our time on the phone or checking lists. It’s not very glamorous work, but it’s important for keeping things running. We have a small group of people working here every day. We know the local tea shops and where to get a quick lunch. It feels more like a small neighborhood business even though we’re part of a much bigger name. We don’t put on any acts here. If you walk in, you’ll see us just doing our jobs in our regular clothes.
