A Wax Studio

You can find us at number 9 in the Shyam Gokul Complex. We are right near the Vijay Cross Road in Navrangpura. It’s a very busy intersection, so there’s always a lot of honking and traffic noise outside. Inside A Wax Studio, we try to keep things a bit calmer. It’s a small place, just enough room for the essentials. We have a couple of rooms for the waxing and a small area to sit in the front. The walls are a simple color and we have some mirrors around. It’s mostly just me and another girl working here. We spend a lot of time heating up the wax and making sure the towels are clean. Navrangpura is a good area because there are always people walking by, though finding parking near Shyam Gokul Complex can be a nightmare sometimes. I usually tell people to come by rickshaw if they can. The floor is white tile and I have to sweep it constantly because every little hair or bit of dust shows up. We don't have a big fancy website or anything like that. Most people just know us from living in the neighborhood or walking past. It’s a simple job but it keeps us busy from morning until late evening. I usually close up around eight and head home after a long day of standing on my feet. It’s hard work, but we are used to the pace by now.
