Shoheb Hair Dresser

Our shop, Shoheb Hair Dresser, is located right in the middle of the Main Bazar in Gadha Para. Being in the heart of Agra’s bazaar means it’s never quiet. There is a constant stream of people, carts, and noise right outside the door. We like it that way because it means there is always someone needing a haircut. The shop itself is quite modest. We have the basic barber chairs and the usual tools of the trade. I’ve been cutting hair here for years, and many of the men in Gadha Para won’t go anywhere else. It’s not just about the haircut; it’s about sitting down and catching up on the local news. We don't have air conditioning or anything fancy like that, just a couple of good ceiling fans that keep the air moving. You can hear the sounds of the market while you’re in the chair. We do shaves, trims, and head massages. Nothing too complicated. Most days are long, starting early and finishing once the market starts to close up. We don't have a secretary to take appointments; you just walk in and see if a chair is free. If not, you wait a bit and talk to whoever else is sitting on the bench. It’s a community spot more than anything. We’ve been through many seasons here in the Main Bazar and we plan to stay for many more.
