Shiraz Beauty Saloon

We are located at A-3 in Shifa Market, which is on Mau Road along the Khandari Bye Pass. It is a pretty busy road here in Agra, especially with All Saint School right across from us. You can usually hear the school bells and the kids when they get out in the afternoon. The saloon is just a straightforward place. We handle hair, skin, and makeup for the local ladies. It is not one of those high-end places with white marble floors. We have regular tiles and simple furniture. Sometimes the lights flicker but it’s an old building. The market can be quite dusty with all the traffic. I think people like it because it feels like home. We know most of our customers by name because they live in the Khandari area or work nearby. When the school rush happens, the road gets blocked up with rickshaws, so that is usually our quiet time inside. We do threading, waxing, and hair coloring mostly. Sometimes someone wants a bridal look, and we do our best with that too. It is just a few of us working here. We try to keep the water warm and the towels clean. Running a business in Shifa Market means you have to be ready for anything. Some days are very slow and we just sit and talk, and other days we don’t even have time to eat lunch.
