Makeover

You can find us at A-12 in the New Agra area. We are very close to Maa Bhagwati Hospital, which is how most people give directions to our place. Agra is a city that never really slows down, but our little corner is a bit more settled. We do makeovers and hair and things like that. It is not a luxury spa or anything like that. We have a few chairs, some good mirrors, and the tools we need. The shop is small and we keep it that way because it is easier to manage. We have been in New Agra for some time and we know the families around here. Often, people stop in while they are waiting for someone at the hospital or just passing by on their way home. We don't have a big reception desk or fancy products on display. It is just a workspace. We drink a lot of tea from the stall nearby and chat with the customers. The summer heat in Agra can be tough, so we have some fans to keep the air moving inside. It’s an imperfect place, maybe the paint is peeling a bit in the corner, but it’s where we work. We don't use any big words to describe what we do. We just help people look a bit different than when they walked in. It is a regular job and we are happy to be part of the local street life here.
