Our office is tucked away in Kamla Nagar, Agra, at house number E-291. It’s a neighborhood that has a mix of houses and small businesses, so it feels a lot more personal than being in a big glass office tower. We do all our infrabuild work from here, which basically means a lot of phone calls and sitting around a table looking at blueprints. The office is pretty simple, with a few chairs for guests and a big shelf where we keep all the project files from years back. Agra can get incredibly hot in the middle of the year, so we spend a lot of time making sure the fans are working while we go over the numbers. It isn't a polished place by any means; the paint is peeling a little in the corner and the door hinges squeak every time someone enters. We don't really have a receptionist or anything like that. Usually, whoever is closest to the door just looks up and says hello. We handle things in a very direct way, talking to contractors and suppliers without all the corporate talk. It’s a small operation but we stay busy enough that there’s always something that needs fixing or a permit that needs to be signed. We’ve been part of the Agra community for a long time and we like the pace of things here in Kamla Nagar. Most of our work involves managing local projects and making sure things get done.
