Down in Agra, you’ll find the office for Pacl Ltd. It’s a place where we handle a lot of the paperwork side of things, dealing with land and files that have been part of the company for years. Agra is a busy city, as everyone knows, and our location is right in the thick of it. The street noise is constant—the sounds of rickshaws, motorbikes, and people calling out—but once you step inside our door, it’s a bit quieter, though never truly silent. We have rows of filing cabinets that are packed with documents, and the desks are usually covered in ledger books and pens. We spend a lot of our time talking to people who come in with questions about their plots or their payments. It’s a lot of explaining the same things over and over, but that’s the job. The ceiling fans stay on all day to keep the air moving, though they squeak a little bit when they’re on the highest setting. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone making fancy videos about us. We just show up, open the shutters, and start going through the stacks of mail and applications. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to sit by the windows to get enough light to read the small print on the contracts. It’s just a regular office in a busy part of town, doing what we’ve been doing for a long time.
