Setting up shop at S W - 66 in Soami Bagh has been a good move for us. It’s more of a residential-feeling area compared to the big commercial hubs, which is nice because it’s a bit quieter. The office itself is filled with rolls of drawings, site maps, and various pieces of equipment we need for our projects. We spend a lot of time coordinating between what’s happening here at the desk and what’s going on out at the actual work sites. There’s usually a layer of dust on the windows from the nearby roads, and the shelves are packed with old files that we really should organize better one of these days. We don’t really do much in terms of decor; it’s mostly just practical furniture and a few calendars pinned to the walls to keep track of deadlines. Usually, there are a couple of motorbikes parked outside and someone is always coming or going. It feels more like a workshop than a corporate headquarters, which suits us just fine. The sun hits the front of the building in the afternoon, making it pretty warm, so we keep the fans going at full speed. People stop by occasionally to talk about plans or check on progress, and we just pull up a spare chair and get into the details of the day's work.
