Nisha Professional Make Up Artist

Nisha Professional Make Up Artist is me, working out of Agra. I don't have a big fancy studio with a storefront; I mostly go to where the clients are or work from my home setup here in the city. I’ve lived in Agra my whole life and started doing makeup for friends and family first. Eventually, it turned into a real job. I carry my bags of products and brushes to houses all over the 282001 area. Most of my work is for weddings, which are always a bit crazy. There’s usually a lot of noise and people running around while I’m trying to do my work in a corner. I don't use any of those really expensive brands you see on TV, but I know what works for different skin types. I’ve learned by doing hundreds of faces over the years. I’m just one person, so if I’m booked, I’m booked. I don't have a team of people. It’s just me and my mirrors and my lights. People find me through their cousins or sisters who I worked with before. It’s a tiring job, especially when I have to be up at 4 AM for a morning ceremony, but it pays the bills. I try to be honest about what looks good and what doesn’t. Agra is a big place, but the community of people doing this kind of work is actually quite small and we all know each other.
