Nipuns Mushrooms Co-operative Society India

Our little group is set up over at Gange Gauri Bagh Colony, which is right off Balkeshwar Road. It is more of a community thing here since we are a co-operative society rather than a typical big business. We spend a lot of our time dealing with mushroom growing and talking to the different members who are part of the society. The neighborhood is mostly quiet, which is actually quite nice for the kind of work we do every day. We aren't some big corporation with shiny offices; we just have our spot at No. 61 where we handle the day-to-day business. Some days are pretty slow, and we just sit around discussing the crops or the weather, and other days everyone is rushing to get things sorted for the members. Being in Agra, people usually think of the monuments, but our life is more about the soil and the produce. The house we work out of has enough space for what we need to get through the week. We started this because a few people wanted to work together on something local. It isn't always easy keeping everyone on the same page, but we manage to make it work somehow. You can usually find someone here if you walk down the road and look for the sign near the bagh. It is a simple setup, really, and we like keeping it that way because it feels more personal for everyone.
