Rishabh Overseas Trading

Shop No-98 in New Market is where we spend all our time. Jeoni Mandi is always crowded with people, so getting stuff delivered to our door is a real headache every single morning. We do a lot of trading with different goods, mostly stuff that goes overseas or comes in from far away places. The shelves are mostly full of boxes that we haven't had time to unpack yet. It’s just two of us here most days doing everything ourselves. We have a small fan that barely works when it gets humid in the summer months. People stop by to ask prices and we just tell them what we know. We don’t have a website or anything like that, just the physical shop where we stand. Sometimes we lose our pens under the big stacks of paper on the counter. It’s a bit chaotic but we know where everything is, at least most of the time. The market has been here forever and so have we. You can hear the tea seller yelling outside every hour. We usually grab a quick snack from the stall next door while we wait for the courier to arrive. The front shutter is a bit rusty and makes a loud noise when we open up. We keep the ledger on the old wooden desk. It's nothing special to look at, just a place where we do our business every day.
