Geetha Impex

Geetha Impex is located right in the heart of Belanganj Market. If you look across the street, you’ll see the Allahabad Bank, which is a big landmark for us. The market is always a bit chaotic, especially in the mornings when the trucks are trying to squeeze through the narrow lanes to drop off goods. We spend a lot of our time dealing with paperwork and checking boxes that come in from different places. It’s an impex business, so there is always something being moved or traded around. Sometimes it’s quiet and we just sit and drink tea, but then three people will walk in at once wanting to know about prices and shipping. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us handling the day-to-day stuff. The shop isn't very large, but we make use of every inch of space we have. You’ll see stacks of files and samples lying around the tables. Being in Belanganj means you know everyone around you, from the tea seller to the bank manager across the road. We’ve stayed here because it’s where the business happens. We don’t use fancy language to talk about what we do. We just buy things, sell things, and try to make sure everything reaches where it needs to go on time. The building is pretty old and the walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but it works for us. It’s just how it is in this part of town.
