We are based at No.B-48 in the Industrial Estate over in Rajajinagar. It is a good, practical spot for the type of work we do because all the other workshops and small industries are located right here in the same area. Manjunathaengineering Industries is basically a place where we get our hands dirty every single day. We work with metal, different machine parts, and various engineering tasks that people bring to us when they are stuck. The shop floor is usually covered in some kind of metal shavings or a bit of oil, which is pretty much standard for a place like this. We have been in this estate for quite a long time, so we know the daily routine and all the neighbors. Most of the time, it is just about getting the dimensions exactly right and making sure the older machines are behaving themselves. It can get pretty hot inside the shed during the afternoons, but we just keep the big fans going and stay focused on the task at hand. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of employees; we are just a small, focused group of workers who really know how to handle tools and metal. People usually come to us when they need something very specific made or when a part has snapped and needs fixing. We don't have a big marketing budget or even a fancy website to show off. Word of mouth usually does all the work for us. It is honest, hard work, and we feel good about finishing a job that was actually difficult to do. Rajajinagar has changed a lot over the years, but our little corner in the industrial estate stays pretty much the same. We just show up, do the work, and head home.
