Kalyan Engineering Works

Kalyan Engineering Works has been operating from 21/25 Chimman Lal Road in Freeganj for quite a few years. It is an engineering shop through and through, meaning it’s loud, a bit dusty, and full of the smells of hot metal and welding. We don't have a front office with a receptionist; you just walk into the workshop and find whoever is available to talk about your job. We handle all sorts of mechanical repairs and custom fabrication for people in the area. It is a very practical setup where the focus is entirely on the work being done on the shop floor. We have a few old machines that have been with us forever, and they still work better than some of the newer stuff we’ve seen. The guys working here are skilled and they don't have much patience for fancy talk or complicated explanations. We just look at the problem, figure out how to weld or machine it back to life, and get it done. Freeganj is a busy commercial neighborhood, so we get a lot of walk-in business from people who need something fixed quickly. We aren't trying to build an empire; we just want to do good engineering work and keep our customers happy so they come back next time. It’s a basic, honest way to run a business and it has served us well for a long time now.
