Jai Maatara Farmers Producer Company Limited is located at Rehada Chunginagar, near the Palika Parisad in Kakya. Neeraj Kumar Tripathi is the one who handles a lot of the day-to-day stuff here. We aren't a big corporation with a lot of departments. It is just a few of us in a local office trying to coordinate with the farmers in the area. Kakya is our home, and we wanted to do something that helped the local agriculture. The office is right by the Palika Parisad, so it is easy for people to stop by when they are in town. We spend a lot of time talking to people about their crops and what they need for the next season. It’s not always organized perfectly, and sometimes the office gets a bit crowded and loud. But that’s just how we do business. We don't have a glossy brochure or a fancy mission statement. We just want to get the work done. The paperwork for the company can be a headache, and we often find ourselves working late to get it all sorted. We aren't trying to be anything we’re not. We are just local people who know how hard it is to make a living from farming. We try to help out where we can and make sure everyone gets a fair deal. That’s the long and short of it for us here in Kakya.
