Imran Hair Dresser

We have been here on Agra Road in Kuberpur for quite a while now. Most people around here know the shop because it’s right on the main road. It’s just a simple place where men come to get their hair cut or a quick shave before work. Usually, the mornings are the busiest when the sun isn't too hot yet. There are a couple of chairs and the mirrors have seen better days but they do the job. We don’t have any fancy music playing, just the sound of traffic from the Agra road and maybe the radio. People stop by, sit for a bit, talk about what’s happening in the neighborhood, and then move on. It’s a small shop, really. My tools are kept on the little shelf under the mirror, and I try to keep everything clean despite the dust coming in from the street outside. Kuberpur is a busy spot so there’s always someone walking past. Sometimes people just pop their heads in to say hello. It isn't anything special to look at from the outside but we’ve been part of this street for a long time. We handle kids too, though they usually wiggle around a lot in the chair. It is just a regular life here, day in and day out, making sure everyone leaves looking a bit neater than when they walked in. That is basically how things go at this little Agra spot.
