Bidarai Farmers Producer Company Limited

Down in Fatehabad near Agra, specifically in the Vidaraee and Dhimishri areas, we decided to get together as a formal group. It started because individual farmers were having a tough time managing everything on their own. We mostly deal with the crops that grow well in this Agra soil. There is no big office with air conditioning here, just our fields and the local roads where we move our goods. People in the village know us as the Bidarai farmers. We share tools sometimes and talk about what the weather is doing. It’s honest work that keeps us busy from sunrise until it gets dark. Most of the guys here have been farming since they were kids. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment, but we get the job done with what we have. Sometimes the roads are bad and getting things to market is a real struggle. We just keep at it because that is the only way to survive. The company is basically just a name on paper so we can buy things together or talk to the bank. Life in Dhimishri is quiet most of the time, except when it is harvest season. Then everyone is out and working hard. We don't spend time on big speeches or writing fancy things about ourselves. We are just here, working the land and trying to look after our families. It’s a simple life, but it’s ours. We stay busy.
